About the Drinking & Writing Book Club

Part of my journey on becoming an author was inspired while on a cruise. I was enjoying my balcony view of the seemingly endless Atlantic Ocean, with a single cruise ship in the distance the only interruption among the rippling waters. My favorite beverage (3rd of the day, thanks to the drink package) was in my hand and I was reading a book on the tablet on my lap. I paused to take it all in, and the perfect serenity of that moment struck a chord. It occurred to me... What if instead of reading, I wrote stories about the beauty of romance at sea?

How it came to be...

The Philosophy

Is all of my writing created in a drunken stupor? No. At least not most of it.
But the idea is to write stories that are inspired by the feeling of freedom when we are on vacation, and with our inhibitions lowered just the right amount.
I hope you enjoy the sense of adventure in reading them as much as I have in creating them.

Drinking responsibly is probably important too.
