About the Drinking & Writing Book Club

Part of my journey on becoming an author was inspired while on a cruise. I was enjoying a balcony view of the seemingly endless Atlantic Ocean, a single cruise ship in the distance was the only interruption among the rippling waters. With my favorite beverage (3rd of the day, thanks to the drink package) in hand, I was reading a book on my tablet. I paused to take it all in, and the perfect serenity of that moment struck a chord. It occurred to me... What if instead of reading, I was writing stories about the beauty of romance at sea?

How it came to be...

The Philosophy

Is all of my writing created in a drunken stupor? No. At least not most of it.

But the idea is to write stories that are inspired by the feeling of freedom when we are on vacation, and with our inhibitions lowered just the right amount.

I hope that reading them gives you the same feeling of adventure and excitement as I experienced while creating them.

Drinking responsibly is probably important too.
