The idea began on the balcony of a cruise ship, looking out at a seemingly endless slice of Atlantic blue. I'd just completed a personal diary entry on my tablet, and sat that down beside the drink (third of the day — thank you, Mr. Drink Package) on the wobbly table. I stared at those items for a moment, then out at he ocean, and back down at the table again. I enjoy writing... I enjoy drinking... hmmmm.

That quiet, sunlit moment became the why. I write because I want to bottle that feeling — the gentle loosening of the shoulders that vacation brings, the idea that anything could happen when you’re footloose and a little bit braver. Stories inspired by this feeling of freedom, with just the right loosening of inhibitions — the moment your vacation transforms into something more: an escape.

My books are for readers who want warmth, heartfelt connections, and a little sun-kissed mischief. They’re for anyone who believes in love, or is looking for reasons to bring that faith back. Adventures as innocent—and occasionally naughty—as a first crush, yet comforting as an old friend.

I hope that reading them gives you the same feeling of adventure and excitement as I experienced while creating them.

Why Drinking & Writing Book Club?

That table setup spoke to me, fueled the inspiration. Drinking and writing. That’s what I wanted to do. (Well, not drinking ALL the time, maybe just thinking about it).
